Joomi and I arewere classmates (last year) and Debra is a curator at Centre A, whom I a few months back. She wrote the text about my work for our MFA exhibition catalogue. The catalogues arrived in the gallery on Wednesday and they look fab!

Horrific. The images and the interviews in the video are incredibly moving.
It was dusk when I filmed the passing scenery from the train as on-board musician Davita Guslits sang and played guitar. This was after our Winnipeg stop but shortly prior to reaching Saskatoon later that night, if I can remember correctly.

Thanks to my friend Heli for finding this link! I don’t watch TV but I actually happened to be watching when this animated short won at the Oscars this years. It’s absolutely fantastic!

This makes me all sorts of happy!
It’s the first video clip made with my new little camera (which I considered should be named Cam the Cam in the same way that my niece named her stuffed toy Cat the Cat). I don’t have any video editing software on my computer, so the video is ten seconds too long, I think. If I might add too, that the clip is HD, and you can view it in that better format when you click through to the Vimeo link :)
